INTERACTIONS HR Solutions Inc. (INTERACTIONS) developed the Organizational Enhancement Toolkit™ based on over 15 years of experience setting organizations up for success. Collectively, Toolkits developed to date, represent over 5 years of extensive research and development.
When creating each Toolkit Edition, INTERACTIONS seeks to partner with a leader in the applicable industry. Using the organizational development and human resources expertise of INTERACTIONS and the industry specific expertise of the chosen partner, Toolkit content is assured to meet the best of both worlds.
INTERACTIONS partners are dedicated organizations who work with us to transfer their knowledge to assist in the creation of a tool that represents a model organization. These organizations work with us to ensure that the Toolkit remains relevant and that the content is transferable to other organizations in the same industry. In addition to our initial partner for a given Toolkit edition, INTERACTIONS often seeks to create a pilot group to further validate and enhance Toolkit content.
Our partnering organizations are excited about participating in product development that helps capture all that is great within their organizations. They are excited to share with their peers a system that reflects innovative collaboration and years of research and development. The participation of our partners enables us to provide the Toolkit at a fraction of the cost of actual development. Our investment acknowledges that no single organization would likely have the resources to hire consultants to create this type of content to the extent in which it is in the Toolkit. Nor would organizations likely have the time to commit internal resources to do so. This unique approach means that regardless of size, your organization can acquire a complete human and organizational development system.
INTERACTIONS creates Toolkit content through job shadowing, interviewing, conducting workshops, research and legislative analysis. Job shadowing often entails spending time with staff throughout their usual course of business and taking detailed notes of daily tasks. Interviews are conducted with staff members in key positions and workshops are conducted with each department to further define daily task lists into accountability areas, job functions, performance standards, procedures, policies etc. Partners and pilot group members participate in numerous focus groups and serve as valuable advisors throughout the development process. In 2008, the Alberta Senior Citizens’ Housing Association (ASCHA) obtained the exclusive rights to market the Seniors’ Housing Edition of the Toolkit in the province of Alberta. INTERACTIONS and ASCHA are working together to set Alberta Seniors` Living operators up for success. Over 50% of ASCHA`s membership have obtained the Toolkit since its release in February 2009. Operators implementing the Toolkit received a 98.3% compliance rating with government standards which was significantly higher than the provincial compliance average of 88% during the same review period.
